Families new to the district should review information on the New Student Registration page of our website. Our District

The Woodward-Granger district includes residents in Dallas, Polk, and Boone Counties, including the cities of Woodward and Granger. For more information, reference these community websites:

  • City of Granger
    The City of Granger is located in Dallas and Polk Counties and is home to 1,420 residents.
  • City of Woodward
    The City of Woodward is located in Dallas and Polk Counties and is home to 1,543 residents.
  • Granger Parks & Recreation
    The Granger Parks & Recreation department maintains green space, parks, shelter houses, and a community center plus hosts programs and community events.
  • Granger Public Library
    The Granger Public Library provides cultural enrichment and activities for all ages. Activities include an adult book club, storytime, and an after-school program. 
  • High Trestle Trail
    This 25-mile trail passes through four counties and five towns and includes one of the largest trail bridges in the world at 13-stories high. The trail is popular for walking, running, biking, and horseback riding.
  • Jester Park
    Located on Saylorville Lake, Jester Park activities include camping, boating, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, snowmobiling, and more. 
  • Jester Park Golf Course
    This full-service course includes an 18-hole championship course, 9-hole Par 3, a Learning and Practice Facility, and an 18-hole miniature golf course. 
  • Saylorville Lake
    Enjoy the outdoors at Saylorville Lake with boating, camping, hiking, fishing, biking, wildlife viewing, and more. 
  • Woodward Friends & Neighbors Committee
    This dedicated committee plans the Woodward Friends & Neighbors Day Celebration near the High Trestle Trail Bridge every year on the first weekend in June. 
  • Woodward Golf Club
    A semi-private club, Woodward Golf includes a 9-hole regulation length course and a private equity course along with a clubhouse and pool. 
  • Woodward Public Library
    Woodward Public Library offers its members informational resources, storytime, adult programs, digital media, and more.
