Welcome to Woodward-Granger High School!
Located approximately 25 minutes northwest of Des Moines in Woodward, Iowa, we serve around 275 students in grades 9 through 12. At WGHS we are committed to “building futures one student at a time” and take that personalized approach to everything that we do.
Nowhere else in the metro will you find such a perfect blend of small-town heart and big city opportunities. Our staff is committed to fostering authentic relationships with students, families, and the greater community. We take pride in leveraging these deep connections to ensure ALL students are provided authentic and rigorous learning experiences in preparation for the 21st-century world.
With a 90% participation rate in activities, we continue to invest in the total student experience. Our students are our greatest ambassadors, excelling in academics, activities, athletics, and the arts. Long after graduation, we want our students to remember exactly what it means to be a WG Hawk!
